San Diego Part 2
It has been almost 2 weeks since we have been back from San Diego but I feel the need to recap the rest of our trip in photos since I took so many. After Bradley was done with Comic Con we spent the rest of our time in San Diego doing all those things we always say we are going to do but never do. Bradley spent a year living in the La Jolla area as a kid so he has always told me about all these places he used to go as a kid. We were finally able to visit the tide pools and beach Bradley used to visit as a kid and we spent one day up in LA visiting a friend and a surprise visit (for me) to the Getty Art Museum.

Mid Trip Check In
Bradley and I have been in San Diego since last Thursday partly for his work and partly to relax. All I can say is I am loving it. While he was at Comic Con I spent two whole days hanging out by myself. It was exactly what I needed. On Friday I strolled around downtown San Diego shopping, people watching, enjoying the harbor, and ultimately after I full day on my feet I found a pedicure and a manicure. Saturday I dropped Bradley off and went directly to Coronado beach where I spent 3 glorious hours swimming and reading. We were fortunate to have some of our close friends from home also visiting San Diego right now so last night was spent on the beach with them. It was so fun to hang out in a different environment. It felt just like we were at home but just next to the ocean. Today we are going to check out some tide pools and then spend some time in downtown San Diego. We were avoiding the Gaslamp District as much as possible during Comic Con. We also have a quick trip up to L.A. to visit Bradley's good friend and then we return on Thursday.

Summer Vacation Part 2: San Diego (image heavy!)
On Monday Bradley and I went to the airport with the ladies at 6 in the morning (that was rough) and picked up a rental car to drive to San Diego. I was excited to drive through a part of the country that I had never seen before but I got in the car and shut my eyes and 4 hours later I woke up infront of and In-n-Out in Temecula. Oh well. We spent the next few days with Bradley's family and on Wednesday we pick up our good friend and Bradley's coworker, Erwin, to go to Comic Con on Thursday.
I will warn you that my picture taking took a steep decline as the week went on. I was tired and having a hard time catching back up from Las Vegas. You will be really dissapointed in me when I tell you I only took a few pictures at Comic Con. Now when I tell people that I went to Comic Con they get very excited but I was actually really dissapointed in it this year. Its so packed in there and if you want to do just about anything (like pick up your badges) you have to wait in a monster line. Maybe I am just getting older but it was a bit claustrophobic and we even went to one of the least attended days. I did manage to pick up a piece of art and a birthday present for Bradley before Rachel and I made our escape. Probably the best part of the vacation was spending time with friends and family. We drove to Encinitas a couple of night to see Rachel and Shane's friend Ben play music and spent some time at the beach.
I forgot how much I love the California mornings. You can feel the dew in the air and the sun warming everything up. I sat outside each morning with my coffee.

One of my favorite parts of Comic Con. I could have watched these little guys for hours.
